Charity
Jet Black has two charities that she works closely with and works tirelessly
to combat cancer alongside many people, Mr Doug Brett a huge fundraising
asset to The Royal Marsden Childrens Cancer Unit and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Jet Black Says...............
Breakthrough Breast Cancer Is my main charity, The Statistics of loss to
breast cancer is very upsetting to me and most disturbing. I have a lot to be
grateful to women, without them Drag Artistes would not have an audience and
they make a great show a pleasure to do, I love them all and would like to say
keep getting checks and make sure your safe, make sure that you are looking
after yourselves, we're no good without you.
Doug is a local businessman who devotes a huge amount of time to the cause
within the Childrens Unit in Marsden and is one of the nicest men I have ever
met, he never ceases to amaze me with his fundraising efforts and his
determination to do good by the unit. I hope one day to visit the unit and see
where the money is going and how it is making these childrens lives more
comfortable. I know that Doug is very passionate about the Unit and its survival and
therefore, I am proud to be a small part of the fundraising effort.
